Yes, dear student. After being accepted into a private college, you will be issued a withdrawal letter (“Tarqeen Qayd”) by the private institution. This letter must be submitted to your public university in order to obtain your original transcript and officially close your academic file there.

Transferring to other colleges is not permitted during both the first and final academic years.

The process begins at the original college by sending a letter of no objection to the second college, accompanied by the student's courses and the required credit hours for academic equivalency. The transfer request can be cancelled within a month of the issuance of the administrative order.

A top-ranking student who successfully completes the first academic year with a minimum grade of Very Good and passes all courses on the first attempt is eligible to transfer to the corresponding department in a public college.

Additionally, a first-ranking student who achieves a minimum Very Good grade in the second academic year may also transfer to the public college, provided that they were within the top 25% of their cohort during the first year.
