Graduated students description
At the end of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, a graduating
student will be able to:
1. Provide patient-centered care that is based on the values, beliefs,
and specific needs of patients within the context of their families,
communities, and the healthcare delivery system.
2. Demonstrate professional behaviors in the practice of nursing.
The following concepts are taken into account for the graduating
student: professional values (ethical and legal practice and
patient advocacy).
3. Demonstrate the integration of knowledge, skills, and
professional attitudes through the use of clinical evidence and
reasoning.
4. Identify safety and security risks and develop strategies to reduce
the risk of harm to individuals and populations.
Key Skills and Qualities of a Nursing Graduate:
• Patient-centered care: Graduates prioritize the individual needs
and preferences of their patients, taking into account their unique
circumstances and backgrounds.
• Professionalism: Graduates adhere to ethical and legal standards,
act with integrity, and advocate for their patients' well-being.
