As part of its ongoing efforts to expand international academic partnerships, a delegation from University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him), headed by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, conducted an official visit to the United Kingdom. During the visit, the delegation met with Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Khalid, Deputy Ambassador of Iraq, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Hashimi, Cultural Attaché at the Iraqi Cultural Office in London.

The discussions focused on enhancing scientific and academic cooperation between the university and British educational institutions. Both parties explored opportunities for cultural and training exchange programs, as well as the development of joint academic initiatives aimed at advancing research quality and higher education standards.

This visit reflects the university’s commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes inclusive and equitable education aligned with global standards, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which promotes international cooperation and the exchange of academic expertise.

Both sides affirmed the importance of this step in establishing strategic partnerships that contribute to the development of Iraq’s academic and research environment and reinforce University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa ’s position as a leading institution dedicated to innovation and excellence in higher education.
