Within the framework of academic openness and strengthening cooperation between educational institutions, the President of Warith Al-Anbiya University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun, received a delegation from Hammurabi College of Medicine – University of Babylon, headed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hadi Al-Moussawi, in an official scientific visit during which a joint cooperation agreement was signed between the two sides. The agreement aims to develop the fields of medical education, scientific research, clinical training, and the exchange of academic expertise between the two colleges, thereby contributing to raising the level of medical education in Iraq and providing an integrated scientific environment that supports innovation and research.

A 30-day training program in the field of neurology at the American University of Beirut

A New Student Achievement for the Faculty of Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) congratulates student Mujtaba Abdul-Razzaq Yass on completing an intensive 30-day training program in neurosurgery at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and its affiliated hospital, one of the most prestigious medical and academic centers in the region. The program included the student's participation in daily morning and clinical rotations, observing complex surgical procedures, participating in outpatient clinics, and attending lectures and scientific conferences with a select group of faculty members from the department. This achievement is a significant step in our students' journey to enhance their clinical experience and refine their practical skills within world-class educational environments, contributing to raising the profile of Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) and the distinction of its students both locally and internationally.

Fifth-year medical students at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) took their OSCE + CIVA practical exams in the fields of orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, and diagnostic radiology, under the supervision of specialized examination committees.
This exam aims to assess the students' clinical and applied skills in various specialties, within the framework of modern medical education standards adopted by the college, in preparation for advanced clinical phases.

Dean and Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Meet with Teaching Assistants

A student from the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) wins an award in the Al-Noor International University Quran Competition
As part of Warith Al-Anbiya University's participation in the Al-Noor International University Quran Competition, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of 53 Iraqi universities and 6 foreign universities from around the world, student Hafiz Muhammad Hassan Shamran from the College of Medicine won a distinguished award during the competition hosted by Al-Ameed University.
This participation, overseen by the university's Student Activities Department, underscores the university's commitment to nurturing talented students in Quranic and cultural fields and encouraging them to combine knowledge, faith, wisdom, and good character.
The Dean of the College of Medicine extends his sincere congratulations to student Muhammad Hassan Shamran and to the Student Activities Department on this honorable achievement, praying to God Almighty for continued brilliance and success for all our dear students.

Electronic successes are achieved rapidly in TBL and its formatting

To follow up on the success of the TBL online exams, the Dean of the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, held a meeting with the Director of the Computer Center, department heads at the center, and the head of the college's Digital Department to discuss the progress and success of the online exams conducted using the Problem-Based Learning (TBL) system. The meeting addressed the evaluation of the technical performance in the exam halls, the efficiency of the electronic infrastructure, and the technical support mechanisms that contributed to the success of the experience.
The Dean emphasized the importance of building on this success to enhance the college's digital transformation within the university's overall direction towards comprehensive digital transformation.

Joint scientific and coordination meeting

A meeting was held, chaired by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, Dean of the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him), with Dr. Mustafa Al-Shafi’i, Director of Al-Hindiya General Hospital. Also present were the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Anwar Sadiq Al-Dahhan, and the joint coordination committee from both sides. The meeting focused on discussing mechanisms for developing cooperation in clinical training and summer training for medical students.
The meeting included discussions on organizing the teaching staff within the hospital and distributing students among specialized units to maximize their scientific and practical benefit.
Emphasis was also placed on the importance of strengthening communication between the college and the hospital to ensure the quality of clinical training, particularly in the following specialties:
(General Surgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, and Neurology).
The coordination committee commended the significant support provided by both parties to ensure the success of the summer training programs and to create a comprehensive applied learning environment for medical students.

Warith Al-Anbiya University opens new horizons for cooperation with the Iraqi Syndicate for Training and Development in the fields of training and qualification.

In its pursuit of strengthening institutional partnerships and supporting academic and professional development, Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Iraqi Syndicate for Training and Development. The agreement aims to exchange expertise and implement joint training programs that contribute to developing skills and enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative staff and students.
The memorandum was signed in the presence of representatives from both parties. Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, Dean of the College of Medicine, signed on behalf of the university, while Engineer Mohammed Al-Moussawi, President of the Iraqi Syndicate for Training and Development, signed on behalf of the syndicate.
The Iraqi Syndicate for Training and Development is a reputable national institution in the field of training and qualification, distinguished by its developmental vision and ongoing initiatives in capacity building and skills development according to approved scientific and professional standards.
This cooperation aligns with the university's strategic direction to build effective communication channels with specialized training institutions and establish joint programs that contribute to integrating academic and applied aspects, supporting institutional development, and serving the community.

A segment of the practical training for students

A segment of the practical training for students of the College of Nursing was conducted in several hospitals across the province as part of the requirements of the Critical Care Nursing course, under the supervision of Dr. Rula Mohammed and Dr. Hadi Jazan.
The training was carried out with direct supervision and field follow-up by the college faculty members, providing students with the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they acquired in classrooms to real-life settings. They engaged with critically ill patients in emergency departments and intensive care units, which contributed to enhancing their clinical skills and improving their professional competence.
The Deanship of the College of Nursing – Warith Al-Anbiyaa University confirmed that this training comes under the guidance of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Naseem Sameer, and within the framework of its plan to prepare qualified nursing staff who possess both scientific knowledge and practical experience, in line with quality standards in medical education.
The training program aims to develop students’ ability to make sound nursing decisions, handle medical equipment used in critical care cases, and promote teamwork and professional discipline within healthcare institutions in Holy Karbala.

Master’s thesis defense

As part of supporting academic collaboration, the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Karbala hosted the defense of the Master’s thesis entitled:
Generating Facial Expressions Images Using Generative Adversarial Networks
The thesis was submitted by the researcher Sabreen Ghanem Khalifa on the morning of Sunday, 15/2/2026.
The defense committee included Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Ali Al-Ghanmi, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, as a member of the committee, reflecting the College’s commitment to actively contributing to the support of scientific research.
The thesis demonstrated an advanced academic level in the field of artificial intelligence and generative networks, reinforcing modern research directions and keeping pace with technological development.

Participation of the University of Warith of Prophets (AS) in the first international scientific conference held by the University of Oil and Gas in Basra

Warith Al-Anbia University participated in the first international scientific conference held by the University of Oil and Gas in Basra, as part of its continuous orientation to enhance academic presence and expand joint scientific cooperation with public and private universities.
During the conference, the University of the Prophets was honored as a supporter of the conference within the joint scientific cooperation programs, in recognition of its active role in supporting scientific research and academic activities. The honor also included a number of university professors from the Faculty of Management and Economics for their outstanding participation in scientific research, reflecting the solid scientific level enjoyed by the university and its teaching staff.

Signing of a Scientific Twinning Agreement between the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) and the University of Anbar to Enhance Academic Cooperation

Within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Ali Al-Ghanimi, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), signed a scientific twinning agreement with Professor Dr. Salah Awwad Salman Al-Issawi, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Anbar.
 
The agreement includes adopting the Bologna Process and organizing evaluative examinations, in addition to holding joint workshops and seminars and developing collaborative research projects between the two parties. The agreement also aims to develop academic curricula and exchange technical expertise in order to advance the level of academic education and enhance scientific research between the two universities.

In the context of his continuous follow-up of the academic process and his commitment to providing an appropriate examination environment, the Dean of the College of Science at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) conducted an inspection tour of the examination halls to monitor the progress of the midterm examinations for first-year students in the Departments of Medical Physics and Forensic Evidence.
During the tour, the Dean reviewed the nature of the examination questions and their relevance to the approved curriculum, stressing the importance of providing all logistical requirements to ensure students’ comfort and help them perform their exams with high concentration and complete smoothness.

Digital Transformation and Labor Market Requirements in the Telecommunications Sector

Based on the principle of scientific and technical cooperation between academic institutions and the labor market, and in line with the College’s vision, the College hosted #Asiacell Telecommunications to hold a scientific workshop entitled:
“Digital Transformation and Labor Market Requirements in the Telecommunications Sector.”
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Eng. Sajad Mohammed Al-Karraawi, Technical Director of Asiacell Company in the Middle Euphrates, as a guest of the College. He addressed the current reality of the labor market and its requirements in light of digital transformation, ways to develop students’ practical and technical skills, and introduced available employment and recruitment opportunities. He also presented practical training opportunities that contribute to refining students’ experience and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the Deanship of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology presented certificates of appreciation and thanks to the lecturer and the participating organization, in recognition of their efforts and their effective role in supporting and empowering students professionally, and in strengthening bridges of cooperation between the academic institution and the private sector.
