The College of Computer Science and Information Technology Receives a Delegation from the College of Engineering
 
The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Ali Al-Ghanami, received a high-level delegation from the College of Engineering – Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Hussein, Dean of the College, accompanied by a group of faculty members.
 
The visit came to extend congratulations to Dr. Al-Ghanami on the occasion of assuming the position of Dean of the College, wishing him continued success and prosperity in his academic and administrative career.
 
In turn, the Dean and heads of the scientific departments expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this kind initiative, emphasizing the importance of opening new horizons for joint academic cooperation between the two colleges in a manner that serves the aspirations of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) and advances the educational process.
 

"As part of its commitment to enhancing the social and educational role of women, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Media, University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), in collaboration with the University’s Women’s Affairs Department, organized an awareness lecture titled 'The Active Role of Women in Managing Climate Change Risks and Environmental Conservation.' The event took place on Wednesday, December 24, 2025."
"The lecture was delivered by Asst. Lect. Sara Mohammed Kadhim, Head of the Women's Empowerment Unit at the college. She focused on fundamental axes aimed at enhancing environmental awareness among the college’s students and staff. The lecture highlighted the vital responsibility that falls upon women in confronting current climate challenges and their pioneering role in adopting and disseminating sustainable practices that contribute to the protection of ecosystems.

Under the slogan "Women’s Power in Societal Development," the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Media, University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), in cooperation with the University’s Women’s Affairs Division, launched an extensive educational media campaign on Monday, November 24, 2025.
The campaign, which featured the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Saleh Majeed Ali, aimed to highlight women's qualitative contributions across various societal, economic, and cultural development sectors. It also emphasized the vital importance of empowering women to lead positive change within society.
 
 
 

Signing of a Scientific Twinning Agreement between the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (Peace Be Upon Him) and the University of Karbala to Enhance Academic Cooperation
As part of strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Ali Al-Ghanami, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him), signed a scientific twinning agreement with Assistant Professor Dr. Mowaffaq Kazem Al-Hasnawi, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala.
The agreement includes the adoption of the Bologna Process and the organization of evaluative examinations, in addition to holding joint workshops and seminars, and developing collaborative research projects between the two parties. It also aims to develop academic curricula and exchange technical expertise, with the goal of advancing the level of academic education and enhancing scientific research between the two universities.

For the Second Consecutive Year.. Warith Al-Anbiyaa University Ranks Second Among Private Universities
Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (PBUH) has achieved a new academic milestone by securing second place among private universities in Iraq for the second year in a row. This ranking was announced as part of the 2025 Iraqi University Classification results by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The classification evaluated the performance of 103 public and private universities based on nine primary pillars, including:
 * Institutional accreditation standards.
 * The effectiveness of scientific research.
 * International rankings and sustainable development.
 * Green indicators and international diversity.
 * Scientific awards and academic compliance.
 * Occupational health and safety, and campus activities.
This consistent progress reflects the strategic approach adopted by the university’s leadership to develop the educational environment and enhance scientific research. Within the framework of ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination process and providing an appropriate environment for students, the Dean of the College of Science at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (Peace Be Upon Him) conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the progress of the final examinations in the college’s departments.
During the tour, the Dean reviewed the examination halls and the mechanisms for organizing the examinations, emphasizing the importance of adhering to examination instructions and regulations in a manner that ensures fairness and transparency for students. He also listened to students’ remarks and needs, directing that any obstacles they may face during the examinations be addressed and resolved.

Under the patronage of the President of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University , the "Turning Point" festival was launched to welcome first-year students. The event was organized by the Warith Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Development, in collaboration with the Faculty of Administration and Economics.
​The festival included a welcoming ceremony for new students and a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Economics, who emphasized the university's commitment to providing a supportive and stimulating educational environment. Additionally, an introductory workshop was held to discuss the requirements of university life, strategies for academic success, and to showcase the achievements of both the university and its faculty members.

College of Islamic Sciences Honors Dr. Ali Ahmed Nasser in Recognition of His Distinguished Service as Head of the Department of Fiqh and Its Principles
In appreciation of his outstanding academic and administrative contributions, the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) extended its highest expressions of gratitude and appreciation to Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Nasser upon the conclusion of his duties as Head of the Department of Fiqh and Its Principles, in recognition of his significant efforts and notable contributions to advancing the academic journey of the department and the College.

Warith Al-Anbiyaa University Conducts Qur’an Memorization Test at the College of Islamic Sciences
As part of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University’s (peace be upon him) initiative to honor memorizers of the Holy Qur’an through a reduction in tuition fees, a special examination for students who have memorized the Holy Qur’an was held today at the College of Islamic Sciences.
The test aims to assess the level of memorization and Qur’anic performance of the students nominated to benefit from the initiative. It was conducted under the supervision of a specialized committee comprising faculty members from the College and the Holy Qur’an Institute at the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine.
This step comes within the framework of the University’s and the College of Islamic Sciences’ commitment to supporting outstanding students in Qur’an memorization and encouraging them to continue their academic and Qur’anic journey, in line with the vision of the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine in promoting religious values and academic excellence.

Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences Participates in a Meeting with the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University
The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him), Dr. Talal Faiq Al-Kamali, participated in a meeting chaired by the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority and the Sharia Custodian of the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai (may his honor endure).
The meeting was dedicated to discussing ways to develop academic and administrative performance at the university and to enhance its role in serving the community.
During the meeting, His Eminence emphasized the importance of reinforcing ethical values and professional commitment within the academic environment. He called on university staff to continue their efforts to elevate scientific and educational standards in a manner consistent with the aspirations of the Supreme Religious Authority and its vision of building a conscious generation grounded in the values of knowledge and reform.
 

Under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Hayawi, and following the directives of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Awad Al-Khalidi, the Department of Accounting honored a group of distinguished faculty members and students. This recognition comes in appreciation of their efforts in achieving top rankings in the ministerial examinations for the academic year 2024/2025.
​The ceremony included honoring several faculty members for their scientific contributions and vital role in supporting the educational and research process. The Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Media, organized an awareness-raising video on 26/11/2025 entitled:
“Nahawand: Ambition and Success.”
The awareness video targeted the students and staff members of the College of Media. The video was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Iyad and Assistant Lecturer Sara Mohammed Kazem.
The organizers extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the student Nahawand Dakhil Abdul Aboud for her purposeful initiative and valuable contribution to this awareness video, which reflects her high level of awareness and her commitment to promoting knowledge and positive values among her colleagues.

In a unique academic atmosphere, Dr. Zainab delivered a scientific lecture to students of the Medical Physics Department at the College of Science, held in the university’s garden within its campus.
This initiative aimed to enhance direct interaction between students and their professor, while bringing vitality and openness to the learning process. The natural setting provided a broader space for discussion and the exchange of scientific ideas.
Students expressed their joy at this experience, noting that the outdoor lecture broke the routine of traditional classrooms and helped them focus and absorb the material more effectively.
 

As part of his morning tour to follow up on student affairs, the President of Al-Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, met with a group of students from the College of Science at the university’s cooperative restaurant.
