Date of Establishment: The team was officially established in the year 2024.

Team Membership:
The number of active members within the team is fluid, subject to increase or decrease in accordance with admissions and voluntary withdrawals.

Member Selection Criteria:
Membership is exclusively available to university students. Candidates are selected or approved by the team founder (team director) upon meeting a set of predefined standards. These include a record of good conduct, a genuine willingness to assist others, and the completion of an orientation detailing the nature of the team’s responsibilities. Membership is finalised upon submission of a comprehensive information and commitment form.

Withdrawal Mechanism:
Withdrawal may occur voluntarily or through dismissal issued by the team’s monitoring committee, composed of the team’s founder and a group of senior and highly active members. Dismissal typically results from violations of the team’s guiding principles.

Sustained Member Engagement:
Continuity in member participation is achieved through the intellectual, administrative, and interpersonal development of members. Motivation is cultivated by awarding letters of appreciation issued by the university presidency or the team director. In parallel, a culture of inclusive teamwork and familial bonding among members is fostered to ensure long-term engagement. These elements collectively support the advancement of lifelong learning and civic responsibility.


Purpose of Establishing the Al-Khayrat Al-Warith Team

Supporting Entities

The team is an entirely independent, student-led initiative supported morally and financially by the university alone. Financial resources are sourced from donors both within and outside the university. The team maintains full autonomy and refrains from engagement with any external institutions or organisations, regardless of their affiliations. This model ensures the team remains rooted in principles of transparency, accountability, and community ownership.


Achievements to Date

The Al-Khayrat Al-Warith team has successfully completed a wide range of initiatives that promote well-being, social equity, and communal solidarity:

  • Regular outreach visits to elderly care facilities.

  • Regular visits to oncology hospitals.

  • Provision of essential supplies — including nutrition, clothing, and hygiene items — to the elderly in orphan care homes.

  • Gift donations to children undergoing cancer treatment, aiming to enhance their psychosocial well-being.

  • Renovation and construction of homes for low-income and underprivileged families.

  • Provision of home furnishings for families facing financial hardship.

  • Distribution of food baskets to impoverished and marginalised households.

  • Launch of an initiative to collect surplus, hygienic food from restaurants and redistribute it to those in need, supporting both food security and waste reduction.

  • Organisation of awareness campaigns within the university and participation in religious and cultural events.

  • Coordination of periodic donation drives, both on and off campus.
