The Fourth International Conference on Oil and Petrochemical Technology concluded at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa with a closing session that presented the most significant scientific findings emerging from the research panels, alongside a discussion of a set of important recommendations to be submitted to the relevant authorities with the aim of advancing the development of Iraq’s oil and petrochemical sector.
The session also included the recognition of the scientific, preparatory, and organisational committees in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in the success of this international scientific event, which served as an important platform for the exchange of expertise and the strengthening of academic and research collaboration in the field of energy.
The convening of this conference aligns with the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and Goal 4: Quality Education—through the promotion of scientific research and the advancement of knowledge in specialised engineering fields that support sustainable development planning.
