During the Fourth International Conference on Oil and Petrochemical Technology at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, the Secretary-General of the Holy Hussain Shrine, Mr Hassan Rashid Al-Abayji, together with the University President, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, inaugurated an exhibition showcasing the project outputs of students from the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering in the College of Engineering.
The exhibition presented a selection of pioneering and innovative projects developed by the students, reflecting an advanced level of applied and research competence in the fields of oil, gas, and energy. These projects contribute to fostering scientific innovation and strengthening the role of engineering education in supporting national development.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, through the promotion of creativity and scientific inquiry; Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by supporting student projects relevant to the development of Iraq’s industrial and energy sectors; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by enhancing collaboration between academic institutions and supporting organisations.
