Academic Delegation from Qom University, Al-Mustafa International University, and Imam Al-Hadi University Visits the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) As part of ongoing scientific and academic collaboration between universities, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) received an academic delegation from Qom University, Al-Mustafa International University, and Imam Al-Hadi University (PBUH). The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the College and several faculty members. During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to enhance scientific cooperation and exchange academic expertise among the universities, particularly in the fields of Islamic studies and scientific research. The delegation also held an open session with the college students, during which participants exchanged ideas on the importance of academic communication between universities and encouraged students to explore academic experiences across the Islamic world. At the conclusion of the visit, the visiting delegation expressed their deep appreciation for the warm reception and the scientific and academic progress they observed at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), emphasizing the participating universities’ commitment to maintaining communication and coordination in future collaborative projects.

The College of Islamic Sciences / University of Warith Al-Anbiya was honored by the visit of Professor Dr. Sattar Al-Araji, Dean of the College of Jurisprudence / University of Kufa and the Scientific Assistant at the College, Professor Dr. Muhammad Zwain, for the purpose of exploring ways of scientific cooperation between the two colleges.

The College of Islamic Sciences/Warith Al-Anbiya University has signed a memorandum of understanding and scientific cooperation with the Daleel Foundation for Doctrinal Studies and Research in the Holy City of Qom. This is one of the scientific memoranda that the College of Islamic Sciences has directly signed with the respected Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Faiq Al-Kamali, in order to expand the scope of scientific and cultural cooperation between scientific, research and academic institutions in Iraq and abroad.

The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, Prof. Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, along with the heads of the departments of Quranic Sciences and Jurisprudence and its Principles, received a delegation from Bayt Al-Hikma, represented by Prof. Dr. Mayas Diaa Baqer and Eng. Muhannad Abdul Hassan Jalab Therefore, to open horizons for scientific and cultural cooperation between the two sides, and an initial agreement was reached to hold a joint annual scientific conference between the College of Islamic Sciences and Bayt Al-Hikma

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya seeks to develop scientific and research aspects in a way that serves the scientific progress in Islamic sciences. In this regard, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, held a meeting with the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Dhurgham Al-Moussawi, to discuss ways to develop scientific and cognitive aspects between the two colleges and ways to develop them to reach higher levels in scientific research.

Signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the College of Islamic Sciences and Al-Mustafa International University On the occasion of enhancing academic and cultural cooperation between educational institutions, a memorandum of cooperation was signed on Monday, April 29, 2024, between the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiya University and Al-Mustafa International University. The signing was attended by a representative of Al-Mustafa International University, along with the Dean of the College, Dr. Talal Faeq Al-Kamali, who supervised this important event. This agreement comes within the framework of exchanging scientific and research expertise, developing academic programs, and enhancing cultural cooperation, with the aim of achieving distinguished educational and research levels. The attendees expressed their happiness at signing this agreement, which reflects their desire to enhance academic cooperation and exchange expertise in the fields of Islamic sciences. This step is considered an important initiative towards strengthening the strategic partnership between the two universities, activating their role in serving the community and contributing to the development of scientific research and university education in both countries. We hope that this cooperation will contribute to the advancement and development of Islamic sciences and deepening the understanding of religious issues in the contemporary world.

Visit to enhance cooperation between the Department of Islamic Finance and Banking and the Iraqi Islamic Bank for Development and Investment Within the framework of the excellence strategy, and within a series of field visits to a number of Islamic banks, Dr. Jaafar Abdul Amir Al-Hussaini, Head of the Department of Islamic Finance and Banking at the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiya University, visited the Iraqi Islamic Bank for Development and Investment. During the visit, he met with the bank’s director, Mr. Ahmed Qais Radif, where they discussed prospects for joint cooperation to raise the skill level of the department’s students, and ways to enhance their practical capabilities. Mr. Ahmed Qais Radif expressed his readiness to support this cooperation by holding workshops and training courses for students, with the aim of developing their professional banking skills. A proposal was also put forward to establish a “virtual bank” laboratory in the department, under the supervision of specialized banking cadres, to enable students to simulate the job tasks that they may face in the banking labor market after graduation. The bank manager stressed that Islamic banks are witnessing continuous expansion and have a promising future in the financial market, which increases their need for graduates of Islamic financial and banking departments, provided that they possess the professional skills necessary to keep pace with the challenges in this field.
