The Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles seeks to prepare specialized academic cadres possessing a solid knowledge base in the fields of jurisprudence and its foundations, capable of conducting original scientific research and understanding the methods of deriving legal rulings to address jurisprudential issues in the spirit of the tolerance of Islamic Sharia.
1. Deepening the understanding of the jurisprudence of worship and transactions through various branches of Islamic jurisprudence.
2. Preparing students who are proficient in Islamic jurisprudence and its principles, qualified for teaching and scientific research.
3. Developing the ability to understand the methods of deriving legal rulings from their detailed evidences based on the principles of jurisprudence.
4. Promoting Islamic values in students’ behavior and adherence to the principles of Sharia.
5. Contributing to addressing contemporary intellectual, social, economic, and legal issues from an Islamic perspective.
