The vision of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences is part of the vision of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, which seeks to promote an awareness rooted in the message of heaven and to work toward the implementation of the rulings of Islamic law. This serves as a guide and reference in the decision-making process for developing academic and social programs and formulating related policies.

It also acts as the standard and benchmark for evaluating and reviewing these programs.

The mission of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences is to promote the culture of the Holy Qur’an in a way that provides the community with spiritual, moral, and civilizational service, in light of the eternal values of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. It also aims to develop specialized studies to address classical and contemporary issues and misconceptions, thereby contributing to community service and meeting the needs of the job market, while fostering a spirit of competitiveness and excellence through strategic planning.

The Department of Qur’anic Sciences strives to achieve a set of objectives that serve as a reference and standard for evaluating educational and self-learning programs, including:

  • Preparing students to lead society through a sense of responsibility and awareness of the great mission entrusted to them, enabling them to refute misconceptions about the Holy Qur’an, extract Qur’anic themes, and disseminate them within society according to its contemporary intellectual and social needs.

  • Protecting and preserving academic and educational traditions in a manner consistent with Islamic culture, while strengthening the sense of social, national, and doctrinal belonging.

  • Preparing students to teach Islamic Education and Arabic Language, in alignment with the needs of the labor market.

  • Providing developmental programs for graduates of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences through the establishment of a Training and Employment Center that the department seeks to create.

  • Promoting a sense of religious and national responsibility in the face of movements aiming to abolish moral and ethical values, by qualifying students through self-learning approaches supported by workshops, seminars, and scientific conferences that identify problems and propose effective solutions.
