A delegation from the College of Islamic Sciences, headed by Dr. Muntadhar Shukr and Dr. Abbas Adnan, visited the Faculties of Engineering, Nursing, Media and Science at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, peace be upon him, on Monday 10/21/2024, where they met with the deans of the faculties, faculty members and students.
This visit comes within the framework of inviting professors and students to participate in the "Words of Light" project, which aims to write the Holy Qur’an in the students' handwriting.
During the meetings and visits to the colleges' classrooms, the delegation explained the importance of the project and its role in promoting religious values ​​among students and involving them in writing the Holy Qur’an, stressing that this initiative will be a unique experience that will leave a deep impact on the minds of future generations.
The details of the training workshops and the necessary preparations were also discussed to ensure broad and effective participation from all faculties.
The project seeks to enhance the spirit of cooperation and innovation among students, and to consolidate their connection to the Qur’anic texts within a scientific and cultural framework.

Inviting students of the faculties of medicine, management, economics and law to participate in the "Words of Light" project
A delegation from the College of Islamic Sciences, headed by Dr. Muntadhar Shukr and accompanied by Dr. Aksam, visited the faculties of medicine, management, economics and law at Warith Al-Anbiya University on Saturday 19/10/2024.
The visit was aimed at inviting faculty members and students to participate in the "Words of Light" Quran writing project, which is a unique initiative to write the Holy Quran in the handwriting of students and professors.
During the visit, the delegation met with the deans of the faculties, where they provided a detailed explanation of the project, its objectives and its positive impact in instilling spiritual and intellectual values ​​in students and future generations.
The delegation also visited the classrooms and spoke with the students, encouraging them to contribute to this historic project that enhances their relationship with the Holy Quran.
The project, which aims to write the Quran in the handwriting of students, is a unique opportunity to interact with the Quranic text and document this experience for future generations.

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) announces the opening of registration for the "Words of Light" project to write the Holy Qur’an, starting from 10/15/2024 until 10/25/2024.
The project aims to involve professors, students, and employees at the University of Warith al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) in writing the Holy Qur’an in their own handwriting, as training workshops for this project will be held between 11/5/2024 and 11/25/2024. The Qur’an is scheduled to be written on the day of the Prophet’s mission, corresponding to 1/29/2025.
The college invites all interested professors, students, and employees to participate in this blessed project, stressing that this initiative reflects the spirit of religious and scientific commitment and consolidates the values ​​of giving and cooperation in serving the Holy Book of Allah.

Medad Forum for Culture and Development, in cooperation with the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), held a scientific symposium entitled "Psychological Warfare: Concept, Foundations and Goals" on Saturday 10/12/2024 at Panorama Mall.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Mudhar Faris Abdul-Ilah Al-Nasrawi, a researcher at the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Karbala, where he discussed the most important concepts related to psychological warfare, its foundations and goals, with a focus on the effects it leaves on individuals and societies.
The symposium came within the framework of joint scientific activities that seek to enhance awareness of the dangers of psychological warfare and its tools in the modern era. In the presence of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, and a group of professors, the Madad Forum for Culture and Development held a lecture entitled "Soft War and its Danger to the Cultural Identity of Societies" on Saturday 9/28/2024 at Panorama Mall. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Subaih Elias Al-Mufti at 8:00 PM.
The lecture discussed the concept of soft war and its tools and how they affect the cultural identity of societies, highlighting the strategies used by influential forces to dismantle cultural and social values. Visit to enhance cooperation between the Department of Islamic Finance and Banking and the Iraqi Islamic Bank for Development and Investment
Within the framework of the excellence strategy, and within a series of field visits to a number of Islamic banks, Dr. Jaafar Abdul Amir Al-Hussaini, Head of the Department of Islamic Finance and Banking at the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiya University, visited the Iraqi Islamic Bank for Development and Investment. During the visit, he met with the bank’s director, Mr. Ahmed Qais Radeef, where they discussed prospects for joint cooperation to raise the skill level of the department’s students, and ways to enhance their practical capabilities.
Mr. Ahmed Qais Radeef expressed his readiness to support this cooperation by holding workshops and training courses for students, with the aim of developing their professional banking skills. A proposal was also put forward to establish a “virtual bank” laboratory in the department, under the supervision of specialized banking cadres, to enable students to simulate the job tasks that they may face in the banking labor market after graduation.
The bank manager stressed that Islamic banks are witnessing continuous expansion and have a promising future in the financial market, which increases their need for graduates of Islamic financial and banking departments, provided that they possess the professional skills necessary to keep pace with the challenges in this field.

In implementation of the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, faculty members and administrative staff of the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) participated in the solidarity stand that was organized on Wednesday morning, 9/25/2024.
This initiative came at the invitation of the President of Warith Al-Anbiya University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, where professors, administrators and students gathered to express their full solidarity with the Lebanese people against the barbaric attacks to which they are being subjected.
The participants in the stand denounced the violations committed against innocent people in Lebanon, and called on the international community to take firm positions to stop these attacks. Dr. Nour Mahdi Al-Saedi from the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiya University participated in a scientific symposium entitled "Illegal Immigration.. Readings in the Causes and Ways to Treat It", which was held on Monday, September 23, 2024, jointly organized by the Department of Philosophical Studies and the Department of Islamic Studies at Bayt Al-Hikma, in cooperation with the Mashura Center for Studies and Development.
During the symposium, Dr. Al-Saedi presented a research paper entitled "Intellectual and Psychological Security and Its Impact on Reducing Illegal Immigration", in which she called for rebuilding the concept of intellectual and psychological security and highlighting its major role in confronting this growing phenomenon. In her research, she emphasized the importance of enhancing intellectual and psychological awareness as a means of reducing the risk of illegal immigration, and the resulting risks such as exploitation, detention, or even loss of life.

Honoring the members of the Media Documentation Committee at the College of Islamic Sciences
The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, honored the members of the Media Documentation Committee at the college on Sunday 9/22/2024, in appreciation of their distinguished efforts during the academic year 2023-2024. The Media Documentation Committee at the College of Islamic Sciences was able to achieve a remarkable achievement by surpassing the number of news issued by it to reach 138 news, exceeding the total news of all other colleges.
Dr. Al-Kamali praised the efforts of the committee in documenting media activities and events, as the college came in first place compared to other colleges such as the College of Medicine, which achieved 70 news, the College of Media 15 news, and Engineering and Science 13 news for each, in addition to the colleges of law, nursing, and management and economics, which recorded lower numbers.

Speech of Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee at the Honorary and Closing Ceremony of the "A Nation that Reads" Competition
Coinciding with the anniversary of the birth of the Master of Mankind, the Greatest Messenger Muhammad (PBUH), the birth of the fragrant breezes mixed with the intimacy of the Divine Presence, the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein concluded the "A Nation that Reads" competition, with the participation of 6,445 male and female students from 16 Iraqi governorates across 21 educational directorates, on Thursday, 15 Rabi` al-Awwal 1446 AH, corresponding to 9/19/2024.
The competition, which began in September 2023 and included 10 scientific axes (each axis 3 books) in social sciences and pure sciences, was the first of its kind in Iraq and was held with the aim of promoting purposeful reading and spreading knowledge among members of society.
Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, Chairman of the Competition Supervisory Committee, stressed in his speech during the closing ceremony that: "The Nation Reading Project expresses intellectual luxury and revitalization of the roots of thought rooted in a heritage and legacy that rises to the height of status that was honored by the radiant light, the sparkling abundance, and the heavenly message, because (Nation Reading) is the fruits that the enlightened ones reap by reviving thought from slumber and hibernation to ambition and honors."
She praised the efforts of the Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, represented by His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbala'i, the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, Mr. Hassan Rashid, his deputies, the members of the Board of Directors, and the rest of the officials, may their successes continue.Al-Kamali added that the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, was keen to implement the competition with integrity and high transparency, with the formation of a joint specialized committee to evaluate the winners.
